Aaron Piano

Clinical Advisor: IPC, Vaccinator and Cold Chain Competency Assessor

Aaron is our Clinical Advisor for IPC, Vaccinator, and Cold Chain Competency Assessments and joined the PHO in July 2021.

​

Aaron's role is to assess practice staff for Vaccinator and Cold Chain compliance, and provide IPC advisory services.

Shanaz is our Immunisation Services Coordinator and joined Auckland PHO in December 2020.

Shanaz's portfolios include Childhood Immunisation, Healthy Mamā Healthy Pepī, and the Best Start programme.

Siobhan Matich

Clinical and Quality Manager

Siobhan started at the PHO in August 2023. Her role involves supporting general practice teams within the Auckland PHO network with the implementation, socialisation and monitoring of PHO and associated Te Whatu Ora initiatives, contracts and programmes in order to deliver evidenced-based best practice.

Alison Brown

Clinical Nurse Advisor

Alison joined the PHO originally in October 2018. After an extended leave to travel the world in late 2023, Alison joined back with the PHO in April 2024.

Alison's role is to support and assist our practice nurses with training, and has oversight over Health Improvement System targets.

Komal is our Population Health Coordinator and joined the PHO in July 2022.

​

Komal's portfolios include practice communications, network HR support, refugee health, youth health, contracted reporting coordination, project coordination, and PHO administration.

Alexa joined Auckland PHO in January 2023.

PHO Primary Care Support

Erin started with Auckland PHO in March 2024. Prior to this, she was a practice manager for two practices in the Auckland PHO network.

Youth Health & Wellbeing Support

Chillion started with Auckland PHO in October 2024. His current scope of work is to support rangatahi with health and wellbeing support; namely for a partnered organisation, Kickback.​

Emma joined Auckland PHO at the beginning of February 2022 to support our clinics during the COVID-19 surge as the Covid Navigator.

Emma's role is to oversee PHO lead projects and provide non-clinical support.
