Payment for Case Management (Whānau HQ) Activity
Thank you for your patience while we have worked through retrospective claiming options for activity undertaken by primary care to support people with COVID-19 in the community. We appreciate those who contributed to finding solutions that are fair and, where possible, streamline processes for practices and align with contractual agreements with the Ministry of Health.
For the retrospective period from 10 February 2022 until 28 March, practices will be able to itemise care in two ways:
From 28 March 2022, practices will be able to itemise care using the Fee for Service mechanism only.

Fixed Interaction Between COVID Clinical Care Module (CCCM) and MSD
On Saturday we advised that there were national delays in the interaction between the COVID Clinical Care Module (CCCM) and the Ministry of Social Development (MSD) interface.
This has now been resolved.
However, MSD has advised that the quickest and most effective way for cases or household contacts to receive welfare support is still directly through the MSD 0800 number (0800 512 337).
