COVID-19 GP/NP vaccination timing consultation – new code

For a General Practitioner (GP) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) consultation to discuss the timing of the COVID-19 vaccination, please submit your claim using ‘COVID Vaccine Timing Consult’ from the dropdown box. Submit the ‘outcome + invoice’ for the $60 excluding GST ($69 including GST) consultation fee via the PMS form and include the clinical notes.  Please note this is different to the drop-down option advised in our Medinz dated 7 April.      

A reduced dose interval for COVID-19 vaccination may be appropriate for those individuals considered to be at high risk of severe disease from COVID-19.
