We seek an energetic, enthusiastic person to set the direction and culture for the Auckland PHO’s Primary Care engagement team. You will be responsible for lifting our Organisation’s capabilities through planning and nurturing our people and their capabilities in line with the Health Sector reforms and the challenges ahead. Your leadership and direction will enable the team to perform at their best in delivering timely, quality services and support to our general practice network and communities.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and as a vital member of the senior leadership team, this role will also work closely with the Clinical Director and COO. We are looking for a technically capable person with an understanding of data analysis and insights to ensure the Organisation is performing at its best to drive quality Primary Care services and to our network that results in improved health outcomes for the people we serve.
This new, unique, fast-paced, flexible, and variety-filled job works closely with our General Practice network and stakeholders in service planning and development.

Our ideal candidate would also have a strong focus on reducing health inequalities in particular Māori health gain, a continuous learning mindset with the ability to drive collaboration, with a detailed understanding and demonstrated experience of working with performance reporting processes, quality improvement and be an inspirational manager to a team of five.
The role is based in Grafton, and the hours can be negotiated.

Vaccinator and Cold Chain Competency Assessor
We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic and committed registered nurse to be our Vaccinator and Cold Chain Competency Assessor to work part time (days and hours to be negotiable) .
Auckland PHO, on behalf of three PHOs providing primary health services in the ADHB catchment is part of a collaborative to support general practices and community pharmacies to increase immunisation coverage, achieve health targets and undertake vaccine cold chain and clinical assessments for vaccinator training course attendees.
You will be an Authorised Vaccinator with clinical experience in immunisation, cold chain processes and Primary Care. If you are not currently a cold chain and clinical assessor, we will ensure you have the training to do so.
You will also have a friendly outgoing nature, exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Bring your immunisation skills where you will liaise with immunisation stakeholders and work closely with the three PHOs and their associated general practice teams to facilitate improvement in childhood immunisation.
Auckland PHO is based in Grafton. This position offers an interesting and varied role in a friendly supportive working environment. Working from home is an option if preferred.
