Measles
The third measles case is a person from Northland and the case has had no history of international travel and has had no contact with the previous two cases. Please refer to the Te Whatu Ora Exposure Events Page for an update on places this person visited.

Maintain clinical vigilance for potential measles. Isolate on suspicion and notify the Public Health service 09 623 4600 immediately.
HPV/Cervical Screening Funding
This is a heads up that claiming for HPV/Cervical Screening will revert to POAC from Mōhio in the next week, date at this stage TBA. Currently the POAC claiming form does not allow for patients enrolled in an Auckland PHO practice and residing in areas other than Auckland or Waitemata areas to be funded. We understand that Te Whatu Ora and POAC are working on opening the form to all eligible people living in all the greater Auckland areas. The POAC form can be used for those residents in Auckland and Waitemata (as previously claimed, prior to HPV self-swabbing).
Further information will be sent when the transition date has been confirmed.
You will note that the claim amount for Māori and Pacific screening is more than the Mōhio form displays. Practices will receive the difference later this month.
Flu Vaccination reimbursement for non-Te Whatu Ora patient facing staff

Reimbursement for the costs of immunising eligible staff for flu vaccinations is available to employers via the Influenza Reimbursement Portal until 13 October 2023.
The Portal opened on 4 April 2023 and runs until 13 October 2023. Any requests submitted after the 13th will not be eligible for reimbursement and will not be processed.
